Two Sparrows

 God is in the smallest details. 

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny and not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your father. But even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are more of value than many sparrows. Matt 10:29-31. 

If God is in the smallest details in regards to birds then he is in my smallest details. Birds die and they do so only according to God's will. 

Therefore, I need not worry. I am not going to die unless it’s God's will. 

I can live my life free of the anxiety of all things. And when I make stupid mistakes and decisions, I can repent of it and no longer worry.

Why worry

I look at the birds and God feeds them. 

I look at the lilies and God clothes them. 

Not one of the sparrows falls apart from his will. 

I look at myself and doubt? 

Why? 

If I am more precious than these in his eyes, why worry?

Why worry at all. 

He is in control and always will be.

He does it all for my good and His glory.

 Dear Sunny

Why is love so far away from me? 

Will I ever find love in a women's heart? Would she treasure me and accept me wholeheartedly? 

Many have said before that they would have stayed if I could tell them the truth. They wanted me to reveal all that was in my heart to them. They found me suspicious when in truth I had not much to say. I thought I was transparent as much as I could be. 

They wanted more and some accused me of thinking often that I thought that the grass was greener on the other side. Fools they were! I thought no such thing for I always maintained to cut my own grass and to water it daily. 

It is what it is and I am not so sad as to be desperate as some that I know. If I was to die today, I would not have regretted not being married. But would I lament not having a Son? To have flesh of my flesh to advance me. 

My Old man was a ray of sunshine in the grey clouds of his generation and he looks on me as the child of his promise. I am his one and only son and considers me a dear friend as well as his son in whom he is well pleased. 

He desires me to marry for he is convinced that my son would excel both of us in this world and would be the crown of our earthly glory.

Your time

We can easily lose ourselves in the world of entertainment. 

It becomes our escape. We forget about the tragedies of this world or the fact that at the end of this life, we will all come before the judgement seat of Christ. 

What are we doing with our time? 

Some have said that life is lived in moments. Are you ready?

Is it all vanity and the best thing for us is to eat and drink and be merry?

Or better yet, should we not spend our time Loving God and loving our neighbour as we love ourselves?

Where am I going with this? Only for us to think of what we are doing with our time because one day it will end.

If you are disappointed right now with your past and your efforts thus far, how will you change it so that you can look back and be satisfied.

For me, only those things done for Christ and for his glory will satisfy me. 

May I lose myself in Jesus and not in anything else. If I lose my life for his sake, then I find it.

Dear Sunny, 

If love is measured by thoughts, then she is my second highest love, second to Christ my eternal beloved.

But, say I had to choose between mother and father, son and daughter, friends and cousin, say which one would I chose to save?

But say, if I had to choose with whom to walk to the ends of the earth with, then it is her, my beloved, for her company, none better I have known to me, my dear wife and my only wife if I could have her for a billion years.

I write to express all of the heights of my desires for it is in her that I find all the joys of a woman’s all-encompassing beauty. She is the highest of my sorrows and the second-highest of all my joys.

Ah, dear Sunny, remember in my younger days how I feared that I would love no woman and that I would be a Solomon and desire many women. She is indeed my Sarah, Rachel and Juliet. All my labours are for her and my Christ. 

I am coming your way soon, dear Sunny. You were the one who taught me the ways of love and patience. See you soon my beloved friend.

Everyone is a slave to this world

The bible tells us that everyone is a slave to this world until Jesus sets them free. 

No matter how free someone may look to us on the outside, if they are without Jesus then they are slaves to their sins one way or the other. 

This is the proper way to look at all men, namely that without Christ they are slaves to sin and alienated from God’s fellowship. Regardless of the creed that they profess, if they are without the Spirit of Christ then they are slaves and held captive to sin. 

Only Jesus can set them free.

So, in humility, we who are free and have the Spirit of Christ ought not to look haughtily at others but instead pray for each one, beseeching the good Lord to save them just like he saved us. And we ought to conduct ourselves in a way that is fitting to our calling so that God will be glorified. There is no boasting!

Love those who disagree with you and serve them with love. Take no offense to heart as to lead to hatred and retaliation for vengeance belongs to the Lord. Indeed in due time, their foot will slip. 

So, we pray for every soul to be set free and to come to the knowledge of the heavenly Saviour.

Book Review: Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape from the Democrat Plantation

In Blackout, Candace Owen argues that the democratic party has not been kind to the black community. She details how the democratic party has had a long history of racism and questions the democratic policies towards black America.  

The book consists of 11 chapters where Owen discusses her views on topics such as Conservatism, Feminism, Faith, Media, Slavery, Family, Overcivilisation, Socialism and Government Handouts, Education, Culture, and Excuses.  

Owen views the Feminist movement (#Metoo) as toxic and highlights the bias of the media to favor the Democratic party’s narrative. Owen issues a challenge to Black America that it is time for a black exodus from victimhood, dependency, and from miseducation. 

She urges black voters to vote for Trump as she believes that President Trump is the president who will accomplish change for the Black community.  

Owen is a rising voice in the political and social media arena against the BLM movement and an advocate for conservatism. She offers a different perspective and urges Black America to free itself from the democratic party's shackles.
