Sometimes I feel the greed
The easy life is what I crave.
Wishing I had a billion
And live the rest of my life without care.
If I didn't think that there was no God
I wouldn't see the point of living

The great lord himself did not come to be served but to serve and give his life for many. Ought we not imitate this and be about this task daily lest we feel superior to our Lord Jesus.
Who are we serving? Who am I serving?
Or do I feel entitled?
Let us not forget that we ought to do everything to God's glory that we are serving Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even if our bosses are evil, yet we serve with joy, because all of our services are done to the `Lord Jesus Christ.
They told me not to worry
But we in a hurry.
I wonder if I'll die making money
Or die to self?
I often think
Dear God why you love me?

We must depart from all immorality. God sent his only Son to die for our sins and should we then live to please our sinful flesh or live according to the Spirit?
We call Jesus Lord but do we do as he says. Do we follow his commandments and do we know what he commands for us to do.
It is easy to get lost with the spirit of this age because the culture is being led by the devil. He is currently at work in the sons of disobedience.
We as Christians should be so saturated with Jesus's words that it becomes natural to us to walk as he did. We ought to think like Jesus since we have the mind of Christ. We have the indwelling of His Spirit.
But too many of us fail! We do not engage violently with our lusts and even though we have been given undeniable proof through our experience of his existence yet we stumble willingly to follow him.
O, help us all O Lord. Help us live in a way that is consistent with your desires.
Sometimes I am frustrated when I read the gospels. I see that Jesus does all things well. He heals the sick and everyone who came to him, he loved perfectly. I wish I could do the same or at least half of what my Lord did. He walked in perfect obedience to the father.
Indeed, Jesus had a mission that was unique. I desire to live in obedience to his commands.

God has not forgotten all that is lost and broken.
Have we forgotten?
Who rises early to pray for their friends and family let alone their enemies?
Who is watching the night sky for the return of Jesus?
Who violently kills their sins daily?
Who is eager to carry their cross to calvary?
Who is weeping over souls like Jesus wept for Jerusalem?
Who is seeking the justice that comes from heaven?

Whenever I remember her, which is not much, I remember her elegant ways. She stands tall like a proud tree, always striving forward and diligence in her walk with the Lord.
At times, I remember her in my prayers and give thanks to God for her. I pray for her wellness and that her happy union will indeed be a picture of Christ and the Church. I pray for blessed fertility and may her house prosper to the glory of Christ.
Those azure eyes, flaxen hair, aristocratic dignity is a manifestation of her humble heart towards her Lord. I remember her fondly and when in her gaze, I always feel like opening my heart to her, for she commands that enchantment on my soul.

We must believe that Jesus' death on the cross has accomplished our justification before God.
The way we demonstrate that we believe this is by living in obedience to the commands of our Lord Jesus.
This is how we show our love towards him.
Indeed we have all fallen short - extremely short of His glorious standards, but our daily failings is no reason to give up hope.
We must get up over and over again and weep bitter tears and repent of all our sins.
The true Christian is always fighting - he is in a war and the war is not over until he takes His final breath.
Many have walked away from Jesus perhaps because of a romantic view that they have of him. God indeed does his works in mysterious ways and we cannot comprehend it.
Today, I believe that I am justified and will not use it as an excuse for my sins. I take full responsibility for my disobedience.
O, wicked heart, cease from thy selfish ways and carry thy cross.

Most of the world is full of hatred towards God. The default position of humanity is enmity against God. So we ought not to be surprised when the culture turns to death rather than to life. Culture is made up of sinful people and the majority are not regenerated. They despise the things of God and it works on a principle that God is dead, at least the true God.
Jesus is demanding and the world will not relent. One day she will relent and that forcefully, but for now Christ is influencing the world through his church. The Christian must be part of a body of believers and not despise her. The church is not perfect but she is the bride of our beloved Christ.
If the world hates the Lord, let us not add to that by our words and our actions by betraying him. Let us walk in his light and carry our cross. If they crucified him should we expect anything less?

Jesus loves us and we must love others. We must love our enemies and our neighbor. Love is not just a feeling but it is thinking and doing good deeds for them. If our enemy is hungry, we must feed them. That is our instruction as Christians. We are not to be cowards and be stepping stones, but we are to sacrificially give ourselves to others in a way that magnifies Jesus.
I have failed to love many and I have failed to love God. I know this because my obedience to his loving laws is shocking. I fall too short of his glorious standards. Indeed we all do and that is why we daily need the gospel.

When Jesus comes again, there will be disappointments. Many who thought that they belong to him will hear the disappointing words, 'Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.' This will be a sad day for many who thought that they were Christians and these will be people who believed in his death and ressurection. It will be a sad day! So let us not be deceived and check ourselves to see if we are in the faith and let us walk in the light.
The way to heaven is narrow. There is only one way and some who think that they are going there will be greatly disappointed. There are two gates, narrow and wide. There are few who find the narrow gate and many who find the wide gates which lead to destruction. There are two houses, the one that stood and the one that fell. Ensure that you are not on the false path to heaven.
We must enter the narrow gate ourselves.

She said she didn't want to go to heaven without me,
I told her, hell is a bad place, better heaven alone than hell with the world.

To welcome others as God welcomed me in Christ.
To live unselfishly and daily die to self and carry my cross.
It is hard, difficult to see past my own horizon,
But give it to Christ and believing the gospel conquers all.
Jesus loves me with no ordinary love,
He loves me unconditionally.

I knew a boy who wanted to die
So he went to war,
Asked his commander where the thickest battle was,
He was first to charge,
But he killed all his enemies,
Fell on his knees and sighed in misery,
They hailed him as a hero,
He collected five medals, his mother smiled,
The world said a brave soldier before our eyes,
The boy declined and went to find other ways to fight to die
He succeeded, he became one of the greats
A Hercules. Now his face is on the rock,
Fifty more medals, they crowned him king
Led his nation to a grand prosperity
Got married, had one wife and five kids.
They loved him dearly, but all the while
He wished he could pass and be at peace.
At ninety-nine, already lost his wife to a happy death
He didn't cry but sighed and wished that it was him,
Every night he dreamt of when the morning would no longer be in his sight
It never came, Now at 120 years, he remembers all his friends that passed away.
Most had Post-traumatic stress, but he had none
No disease, no ache, no depression,
He often preached, but never told of his deep wish to die to be at peace,
But there was no anguish just this only steady dream.

Jesus died on a Friday, they crucified him. He died in physical and spiritual pain. His death was the death of death. True, many have died before and after, but no one died like Jesus died because he did not have to die because he had no sin. The wages of sin is death so the wages of sin did not apply to him. The death he died was for his sheep. Yes, he took their place. This is why Friday is a good day. As a believer, I rejoice and weep. I weep because my sin nailed Him to the cross and I rejoice because he paid for my sins.

I woke up with a thaw on my chest
