What is in my heart I pray
But let me not forget thanks to thee.
O heavy is my days, the future I can't glean thy rays.
Friends, my friends they wound me,
But I think that I have hurt them more -
They go about in silence
But I have been silent long.
I will hold no grudges
Forgiveness is my duty to all;
And if she chose to leave
I'll sigh but shed no tears for pain.
After all, Christ is all there is to gain!
