 I call to you Lord because my heart is faint -
I will call on you as long as I live!
O, I have wandered in misery and in sin,
My prayers have ceased and I walk in pity.
O my Lord, refresh me in the comfort of your Love,
Let me see the light of life and to live according to your will.
Your word is life, 
Let me live in step with thy Holy Spirit.

 I thought I had a hope
The light flickered brightly
Only to die in the darkest of night.
Were all my prayers vain
Like a mirage in the desert?
O, let my happiness quickly come
That my lament will be a joy.

 Our days are numbered!
The light will dim from our eyes
To wake in the hereafter and leave 
This mortal realm goodbye.
Long life is a gift,

Hope is realized
