I knew a sad boy who came to me and said:
Dear sir, I am intoxicated
My mama wants me to marry

The girl that I love

So what am I to do?
Every night I write to her
No response,

Even my mother gave me up, and all of my sisters and nieces. They all gave me up and yet I own no bitter hate towards them but from this unbreachable distance do wish them well.

I am drawn to her like a moth to the light.
My flight, a happy silence of my delusional delight.
Night sleep evades me because of her elegant grace
But not towards me for she has discarded me to a forever distant gaze.
My hope is now lost in an eternal dream
I long to speak pour out all of my emotional zeal.
It is irrational like my attachment to her enthralling charm,
A picture in my head, perhaps erroneous if I embraced her fatal hue.
