Let me be contented

Let me be contented, although loving you seems cruel.
The age whispers when all I wanted was the praise of your convenience.
The civility of the dawn should bring about a cheerful wild,
But deep into the night, I lament your boundless charm,
It holds me chained, warm like an appropriate smile.
