It is often the case that God encourages us with good news. When we are down and depressed, dead, and lingering in the darkness, God encourages our hearts with good news. The gospel is the greatest of good-news and it is always available to the believer and unbeliever if they would believe. We often make light of this glorious remedy and often linger in our gloom longer than we ought and God often whispers to us some other good news like with an answer to prayer to lift us out of the mire. Such is the sweet love of God that even after presenting us with the greatest of news, He blesses us even more. If you are discomfort today, I beseech you tp take your grieve and misery to Him and remind yourself of the glorious news that Jesus died for you and that you are forever accepted in God's sight despite your vile and wicked sin. Blessed be his name!

I knew a sad boy

I knew a sad boy who didn't think much of himself or of anything else. He was aloof of this life and wondered why he existed at all. He could think of Hume's argument of only relying on the five senses and then he would think about Kant's thoughts that we can't really know anything of the outside world. He would sigh under the lovely blue sky that always welcomed the sun in the day. He would look around and often wondered if others saw the vanity of all things. It is a sad thing that something exists rather than nothing. It was better for nothing to have always been than something because he would not have to dwell in his vanity. 

He was very sad indeed and I counselled him many a time that God exists by necessity. He saw the good in my argument and was convinced by its logic and necessity but he could not bring himself to believe it because he had abandoned the pursuit of truth and rather loved his preference of being miserable. His case was of the man who acts according to his taste rather than what is objectively true.

A prayer for my soul

O Good God, the great and magnificent one. You are too lovely, too pure, too beautiful. You are indeed the best that there is. O I love you and that dearly. It is not enough to give up sin but one must be in the duties of righteousness. O let me love your house. Let me be constantly seeking your presence. You are indeed the amazing one and may I enjoy your glory. O teach me to rise early in the morning to praise your name. Yea to only praise you. May your words be in my heart and may it flow out of my mouth to encourage and bless humanity.

O Sunny,

I want the absolute best for both of them - the truth is my hope is not in her to achieve that and it is not in him to provide that - my hope is in God and right now it looks like the absolute best for both of them is each other. Circumstances are what they are but my hope is in God.

I want to know the truth and enjoy the highest good

I want to know the truth and enjoy the highest good. But where can I find it? Certainly not here on earth. If not here on earth then it must be somewhere in the universe. But if it is not in the universe then it must be outside of the universe. What is the truth anyway if there is indeed a singular truth or to put it another way, who dictates truth because everything must have the truth behind it which would naturally come from the originator or the creator of it. Not as an artist who joins this material and that material together to make another thing but an artist who had no raw materials to begin with, but created everything out of nothing and thus deciding its properties and uses. Surely, it is this being that knows what the truth is or is in fact the truth. And if this being is the truth and knows the truth then it must know what the highest good is that mankind can enjoy. That highest good I want to enjoy completely and eternally. The answer did come that Jesus Christ is the truth and that He created mankind for himself and that the Godhead has called mankind into fellowship with themselves so that mankind can enjoy the highest pleasure which is to be in sweet communion with the living God.

I told her not to worry

When the stress of being alive gets overwhelming 

She can cry and I won't judge 

Cuz my eyes will be blurry.

It's kinda funny

Out of something bitter came the honey.

Don't worry about the money,

The day will come when cash can't pay for your act 

Better be righteous and die poor 

Otherwise its an eternity inside a prison door.

I wish I could trade my life for yours,

But I fear my misery and grief runs deeper than yours.

The only encore I'll adore is the one the Christ gives

So I shun the pleasing eyes of the world 

Turn my face to God whilst the world whips my back with lashes 

That was uncalled for if she was righteous like the God who made her.
