Yesterday was a good day

Yesterday was a good day,
We had a nice walk,
I got my vaccine
My arm doesn’t feel numb.
She was so pretty,
I looked pretty dull,
I spent my night thinking
Of nothing much.
It's not worth the ask
I know what she will say
I've got to chase my aim
Otherwise, I'll end in disgrace.
She would be a pleasure, 
I thought about my dad
Lovely conversations
But didn't dwell on love.
I'll leave it to chance
But chance doesn't exist,
I'm feeling not a feeling
Only feelings of ease.
